UASC takes delivery of new ship ''Al Rawdah''
United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) received its eighth and last A7 ship, at a ceremony held at the Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) shipyard in Ulsan (South Korea).The latest A7 “Al Rawdah” will fly the Qatari flag and is being deployed on the Asia-Midlle East-Europe container route. Captain Ahmed Yousef Al Mas, Asst. Chairman for Seaports (Customs & Ports General authority) Qatar, named the ship “Al Rawdah” and officially took delivery of the vessel.[29-10-2008]

United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), owned by six Arabian Gulf States (Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and U.A.E.) celebrated the naming and delivery of its 7th new A7 ship at a specially organized ceremony held at HHI, Ulsan in Korea on Thursday, 18th September, 2008. UASC takes delivery of new ship M.V. ''JAZAN''

United Arab Shipping Company S.A.G. announced the signing of a newbuilding contract for nine 13,100 teus ships (A13) with Samsung Heavy Industries.
