UASC celebrates with Eurogate Hamburg 33,333,333rd container handling on board UASC Al Safat vessel
Today marks a new container handling record at the EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg: over the past 40 years, 33,333,333 standard containers (TEU) have been handled. The jubilee container comes from the United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) and will be loaded today onto the container ship AL SAFAT, which is employed in the UASC AEC2 service between Asia, Europe and the Middle East. EUROGATE is celebrating the handling of the 33,333,333rd container together with UASC and its customer Siemens.[01-08-2010]
