Verified Gross Mass (VGM) update

As per the SOLAS regulation, which came into effect 1 July, 2016, it is the shipper’s responsibility to provide the Verified Gross Mass (VGM) to UASC or the port terminal facility representative upon the delivery of the container to the port facility and prior to loading.

Please be reminded that the grace period granted by IMO for the VGM will expire end of September and effective 1 October, 2016, containers will not be accepted without a VGM certificate.

Containers without VGM will not be permitted to load on board and all related charges resulting from containers being shut out will be on customer account and responsibility.
